Book well ahead in summer — the Via Ferrata is extremely popular and sells out weeks in advance, especially for weekends.
You don't need any climbing experience, but you do need to be comfortable with heights. The exposure is real.
Wear sturdy hiking boots with ankle support — running shoes are not permitted. Long pants recommended to protect against rock scrapes.
All safety gear (harness, helmet, via ferrata set) is provided and the guides are excellent. You're clipped in at all times.
The views from the suspension bridges are the highlight — don't look down if you're nervous, but do look out!
