Overview

The Mount Royal Hotel is Banff's original social hub, standing at the crossroads of Banff Avenue and Caribou Street since 1908. This heritage property has been the town's gathering place for over a century, and today it houses three of Banff's most iconic nightlife venues: Wild Bill's Legendary Saloon (country music and line dancing), the Rose & Crown (British pub with a rooftop patio), and Tony Roma's restaurant. The rooms have been updated over the years to offer modern comfort while retaining character, and the rooftop hot tub offers views straight down Banff Avenue to Cascade Mountain. There is simply no more central location in Banff — you are literally at the heart of everything.
