About This Trail

This one-way route follows the eastern shore of the Spray River through mixed coniferous forest, with occasional glimpses of the iconic Banff Springs Hotel perched above. The gentle terrain makes it popular with cyclists and joggers as well as hikers. Birdsong and the rush of the Spray River accompany you through a corridor that feels remote despite its proximity to town.
