Cathedral Mountain Lodge is a luxury seasonal wilderness retreat in Yoho National Park near Field, British Columbia, consisting of 31 hand-crafted log cabins nestled at the base of Cathedral Mountain along the Kicking Horse River. Each cabin features a wood-burning fireplace, deep soaker tub, private deck, and rustic-elegant decor โ but intentionally no TV, to encourage guests to engage with the natural surroundings. The lodge's acclaimed dining room serves outstanding Rocky Mountain cuisine using locally foraged and regionally sourced ingredients. Open from approximately June through early October, it's one of the most romantic and immersive wilderness accommodations in the Canadian Rockies.
