Emerald Lake Lodge is an extraordinary heritage property set on the shores of Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, approximately 40 minutes west of Lake Louise. The lodge comprises 85 rooms spread across 24 hand-hewn timber-frame buildings, each featuring stone fireplaces and balconies overlooking the mesmerizing emerald-green lake and surrounding peaks of the President Range. Originally built in 1902 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, the property has been lovingly maintained to preserve its rustic elegance. With no cell service and no television, Emerald Lake Lodge offers a true wilderness escape with fine dining, canoe rentals, and access to pristine hiking trails.
