About This Trail
Departing from the Moraine Lake parking area, this trail threads through a massive boulder field created by ancient rockslides before arriving at the serene Consolation Lakes, backed by the imposing Quadra Mountain and Babel Tower. The lakes earned their name as a "consolation prize" for those who couldn't reach Moraine Lake in earlier times. Today they offer a quieter alternative with equally stunning mountain scenery.
