About This Trail

The Healy Pass trail climbs steadily through dense subalpine forest before breaking into vast alpine meadows painted with wildflowers. At the pass itself, hikers are rewarded with expansive views into the remote Egypt Lake wilderness and across to the Monarch Ramparts. This trail provides a genuine backcountry feel without requiring overnight gear, and the Sunshine Shuttle offers convenient access to the trailhead.
