About This Trail

Beyond the Upper Falls of Johnston Canyon, the trail leaves the canyon confines and emerges into expansive meadows where five cold-water springs bubble up through the earth, each tinted a unique shade of green and blue by dissolved minerals. The colourful pools contrast beautifully with the surrounding wildflower meadows and rugged peaks. This extension transforms the popular canyon walk into a full-day adventure and is accessible via Roam Route 9.
