About This Trail

Building on the Lower Falls trail, this extension pushes deeper into Johnston Canyon to reveal the towering 30-metre Upper Falls โ€” a wall of water crashing over ancient limestone with tremendous force. An observation platform provides a dramatic vantage point where mist from the falls keeps the air cool even on hot summer days. The extra distance rewards hikers with far fewer crowds than the lower section.
