About This Trail

Paradise Valley lives up to its name with a long trail winding through pristine forest and alpine meadows to reach the Giant Steps โ€” a dramatic tiered waterfall cascading over massive rock slabs. Mount Temple, the highest peak in the Lake Louise area, towers above the valley floor. The full circuit is a demanding all-day outing that passes through some of the most spectacular and unspoiled landscape in the park.
