About This Trail
From the far end of Lake Louise, this trail climbs along lateral moraines into a vast amphitheatre where six glaciers tumble from the surrounding peaks. A rustic tea house near the 5.5 km mark offers hot drinks and baked goods in one of the most dramatic settings imaginable. Beyond the tea house, the trail continues to a viewpoint where the full scale of the glacial landscape unfolds, with ice falls and crevasses visible on the glacier faces.
