About This Trail

Beginning at the Lake Minnewanka day-use area, this easy walk follows the north shore before arriving at a bridge that spans the impressive Stewart Canyon. The turquoise water of the Cascade River cuts through vertical limestone walls far below, creating a dramatic natural spectacle. It is an excellent add-on to a Lake Minnewanka visit and accessible via Roam Route 6.
