About This Trail

The journey to Sundance Canyon begins on a wide, paved path along the Bow River from the Cave and Basin, making the first portion accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. Once at the canyon itself, a rugged loop trail weaves between towering water-carved rock walls where Sundance Creek cascades through narrow slots. The combination of easy approach and dramatic payoff makes this a favourite half-day outing accessible via Roam Route 4.
