About This Trail

Dolomite Pass climbs through subalpine forest and open meadows to a dramatic high pass beneath the rugged Dolomite Peak massif. The route passes several small tarns and crosses terrain where glacial remnants and alpine wildflowers coexist. At the pass, views stretch across a vast expanse of peaks and valleys, with the Waputik Icefield visible in the distance. This demanding hike rewards with some of the finest high-alpine scenery along the Icefields Parkway corridor.
