About This Trail

North Molar Pass extends the Molar Pass route further into the alpine, gaining nearly 800 metres of elevation through increasingly barren and windswept terrain. The pass offers sweeping views of the Molar Creek valley and distant peaks that define the northern boundaries of Banff National Park. This is a full-day commitment that appeals to experienced hikers seeking true solitude and the raw beauty of the high alpine environment.
