About This Trail

Parker Ridge is one of the most rewarding short hikes in the Canadian Rockies, climbing above the treeline in just a few kilometres to reveal the immense Saskatchewan Glacier β€” the largest outflow of the Columbia Icefield. Wildflowers carpet the exposed ridgeline in summer while the glacier and surrounding peaks create an icescape of breathtaking scale. The trail is exposed to weather, so layers are essential, but on a clear day the views are absolutely world-class.
